Waterloo Silver Tongue is a fresh, fun and no judgement zone to flex your speaker muscles. Our club is dedicated in helping each other build confidence to achieve greatness in all aspects of communication, including written and impromptu speeches, body language and listening. 

Experienced Toastmasters present the fundamentals of public speaking in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Members learn through an education program called Pathways, A learning experience tailored to your personal and professional goals and gives the member the opportunity to develop many skills relevant to an evolving global marketplace. 

The end result....you will become a more confident and poised speaker.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person. In a supportive community or corporate environment, members prepare and deliver speeches, respond to impromptu questions, and give and receive constructive feedback. 

It is through this regular practice that members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals. Founded in 1924, the organization is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado with approximately 270,000 members in more than 14,000 clubs in 150 countries.
